Cricket Match for AIDS Awareness

Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is set to organize a Cricket match tomorrow at TU International Cricket Ground, in order to create awareness about the AIDS pandemic, in the occasion of World AIDS Day, December 1.

CAN through a press release mentioned that the match would see match played amongst representatives of   various organization working for HIV/AIDS awareness and health, government’s high level officers, sport personalities, sports representatives, sponsors, artists, singers, musicians, foreign diplomats and representatives of donor agencies.

The 2012 HIV/AIDS day is themed “Getting to zero: zero new HIV infections. Zero discrimination. Zero AIDS related deaths”.

The program is set to star 10:45 am sharp at the venue.
