Afghanistan, UAE and Malaysia are the other 3 teams of the tournament. Afghanistan won the title defeating UAE in the finals while Malaysia beat Nepal for the place in the podium. Afghanistan(and UAE) also qualified for the U-19 Word Cup  The poor show of U-19 team in the ACC Elite Cup meant Nepal could not play the U-19 World Cup in 2014.

This tournament was not however ACC 2013 calendar and had to be adjusted in order to manage other dates.

With the success of senior team the U-19 side has been absolutely neglected in recent times. CAN has been busy preparing for the two world cup qualifiers.
