Bhairahawa Thrilled Kathmandu To Reach The Semi-finals

Bhairahawa secured a thrilling one wicket victory over Kathmandu to reach the semi-finals of the ongoing U-19 National Cricket Tournament.

In a match reduced to 22 overs due to rain, Kathmandu batted first. They scored 115 for the loss of six wickets. Aadil khan top scored for Kathmandu with run a ball 46 whereas Arjun Adhakari remained not out on 23 runs off 24 balls. Saurav Khanal, Rahul Bhattarai, Saheb Alam and Bishal Sunar picked a wicket each for Bhairahawa.

In reply, match winning knock of 43 runs off 38 balls form Captain Saurav khanal helped Bhairahawa secure one wicket victory. He was the 8th wicket to fell down when his team was almost home at the stage of 113/8 with just 7 runs to win. Apart from the Captain, Bhuwan Sunar scored 21 runs for Bhairahawa. Abhiraj Yadav picked up four wickets for Kathmandu.
