Kathmandu- The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the 16-member team for Nepal tour of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Mehabob Alam has made a comeback to the team while young off spinner Irshad Ahmed who earlier represented Nepal’s U19 team has also been included into the team.
Nepal’s Squad- Paras Khadka (C), Gyanendra Malla (VC), Subash Khakurel (WK), Basant Regmi, Shakti Prasad Gauchan, Sagar Pun, Anil Kumar Mandal, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Mahesh Kumar Chhetri, Mahaboob Alam, Sharad Vesawkar, Prithu Baskota, Irshad Ahmed, Naresh Bahadur Budhayer and Bikram Sob.
Avinash Karn, Siddhant Lohani, Pradeep Airee and Rajesh Pulami missed out from the team that played against Scotland in Nepal’s first round WCL matches.
Along with Mehabob, Naresh Budhayer and Subash Khakurel also makes a comeback to the team. In the meantime, Binod Bhandari has again been left out.
Irshad Ahmed and Bikram Sob are the new faces in the squad. Irshad has played for the U19 team in the ACC Premier League 2013 and 2014.
