Paritosh’s five-for help Ranchi with a 11-run win over New Horizon

Kathmandu – All round performance by Paritosh Kumar helped Ranchi Cricket Club to register a 11 runs win over New Horizon Club in the ongoing 2016 Saanshad T20 Cricket Cup at Sideshwar Cricket Ground on Thursday.

Ranchi opted to bat first despite the delay in start due to rain. Saras Choudhary 19 (19), Paritosh Kumar 17 (20) and 17(15) from Atul Anand guided their team to a competitive 122 runs on the board and were bowled out in 19.4 overs.

Krishna Karki was picked of the bowlers as he grabbed four wickets (4-0-21-4) in four overs. Dhiraj Shahi, Sushan Bhari and Ganesh Gaudel also took two wickets each.

In reply, Paritosh Kumar’s five-for restricted New Horizon to 111/9 in their 20 overs. Ganesh Gaudel top scored with 31(36). Similarly, Raju Sahani managed 22 (28) alongside Nirmal Thapa’s 13(9) but failed to chase.

Man of the match Paritosh Kumar finished the match with the figure of 4-0-13-5. He was well supported by Manoj Murmu and Atul Anand at the other end. Both got two wickets.
