Nepal defeats South Africa by 6 wickets

Nepal Blind Cricket team defeated South Africa by 6 wickets in their third match of 2nd T20 World Cup Cricket Tournament for the Blind being played in India.

CAB Nepal 149/4 (17.3) defeated SABC 146/5 (20) by 6 wickets

Nepal won the toss and invited South Africa to bat. With an unbeaten half century (57) by Sonwabile Bidla (B3) and , South Africa piled up 146 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Dominic Scott Adriaans (B3) and Buhle Bhidla (B2) also contributed 33 and 32 runs respectively.

Sunil Rana Magar (B2) grabbed two wickets in his spell of four overs (4-0-26-2).

In reply, Openers Ramesh Bahadur Baniya (B3) and Sunil Rana Magar (B2) put on a 69 runs partnership. Baniya scored 24(28) whilst Magar smashed 38(35) runs. Sunil Subedi Chhetri (B1) played a lonely hand to drive Nepal to a comfortable chase in 17.3 overs. He remained unbeaten on 46 runs off 33 balls.

Nepal has already lost their two matches against Australia and Bangladesh in the tournament.
