Nepal U19 team set to travel Singapore today for ICC U19 Qualifiers

Kathmandu – Nepal U19 team led by Sandeep Lamichhane will depart to Singapore today to play the ICC Asia U19 World Cup Qualifier to be held from Jul 17-25.

The tournament will take place in two ground in Singapore – Singapore Cricket Club, Padang and Indian Association Ground. Nepal will play their first match against Singapore on July 17 at SCC.

Alongside Nepal, there are three other teams – Afghanistan U19, Malaysia U19 and Singapore U19 playing in the tournament.

Nepal has already announced their 14-member squad for the ICC U19 fixtures on Thursday. The winner of the tournament will take part in the global qualifier tournament for the 2018 ICC U19 Cricket World Cup to be held in New Zealand.

July 17

  • Match 1 – Afghanistan U19 v Malaysia U19
  • Match 2 – Nepal U19 v Singapore U19

July 18

  • Match 3 – Singapore U19 v Afghanistan U19
  • Match 4 – Malaysia U19 v Nepal U19

July 20

  • Match 5 – Malaysia U19 v Singapore U19
  • Match 6 – Nepal U19 v Afghanistan U19

July 21

  • Match 7 – Nepal U19 v Singapore U19
  • Match 8 – Afghanistan U19 v Malaysia U19

July 24

  • Match 9 – Nepal U19 v Malaysia U19
  • Match 10 – Afghanistan U19 v Singapore U19

July 25

  • Match 11 – Afghanistan U19 v Nepal U19
