Naresh Budhayair is set to replace injured Sharad Vesawkar for the two matches against Hong Kong in the ICC World Cricket League Championship that starts from October 11.
Vesawkar is suffering from fever since his arrival in Hong Kong and is almost confirmed to miss out both the matches. Moreover, he didn’t even take part in the nets session on Thursday. The selection committee has named Naresh Budhayair as the replacement for him.
Meanwhile, Budhayair will be flying to Hong Kong today at 4 PM and will reach Hong Kong on Friday, October 11 at 9 AM local time. He will miss the first match and will be available for the line-up for the second match on October 13.
Nepal will play the first match on Friday, October 11 at Mission Road Ground, Mong Kok.
