Dipendra Airee ruled out of Oman tri-series

Nepal’s middle-order batsman, Dipendra Singh Airee has been ruled out of the Oman tri-series, including the USA and the host Oman, due to an ankle injury.

The Nepali cricket team has suffered a setback ahead of the triangular series involving the United States and Oman as Nepal’s middle-order batsman, Dipendra Singh Airee has been ruled out due to an ankle injury.

Nepal’s vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee missed both games against PNG due to an injury to his right ankle. But he will lose the upcoming series as it will take some time for recovery.

Airee injured his leg during a throw-down training session on Sunday.

“An MRI scan of his injury showed he needed some rest”, Cricket Association of Nepal source said. Due to which he won’t be available for the triangular series between Oman and the United States.

Cricnepal understands that CAN will issue a statement today on the seriousness of his injury and how long he will be out of the field.

Nepal will take on the USA and Oman from September 13-19 in Oman.
