Nepal unveils new team jersey with My second teacher as sponsor

Nepal unveils a new team jersey with sponsor My Second Teacher, an e-learning platform.

National cricket captain Gyanendra Malla and My Second Teacher co-founder and ING Group’s Chairman Sulav Budhathoki unveiled the new jersey on Monday.

The National jersey will carry the My Second Teacher’s logo on the front and Islington College on the back. The jersey will also carry the logo of ING Group.

ING Group, has entered into a partnership with Adpad, who had acquired commercial rights for the Nepal Cricket Team Men’s Jersey for the T20Is and ODIs as per the ICC’s clothing regulations. The agreement is until March 2022.

CAN and Adpad struck an agreement effective for 15 months in the last week of December. Though CAN and Adpad have not officially revealed the amount of the deal.

“We welcome ING as our commercial partner and are heartily obliged that we have a company that is working to revolutionize education in Nepal as our official sponsor,” Chatur Bahadur Chand, CAN President said.

“We are proud to be associated with the National cricket team and we would like to thank CAN and Adpad for this opportunity,” Sulav Budhathoki, Co-Founder, MySecondTeacher said.

Nepal would wear the new jersey in the upcoming Tri-Nations Cup T2O Series beginning on Saturday.
